Abstract
The rapid conversion of general wards to temporary negative isolation rooms (TNPI) by installing portable HEPA filter units was conducted during the COVID-19 pandemic, posing challenges for precise on-site measurements and testing. This study proposes an improved CONTAM-Python integration tool to estimate leakage areas during the conversion process and analyze their impact on pressure differentials in TNPI rooms. Additionally, through multivariate analysis, the factors that have the greatest impact on pressure differentials can be derived, proposing potential improvements to be done firstly on that factor. The implementation of the tool in the medical facility showed improved results and also revealed critical areas influencing pressure differentials in ascending order.
